Barcaldine Solar Farm - State Environmental Approvals

Project Location: Barcaldine, Queensland

Project Description: Green Tape Solutions’ ecologists undertook the relevant fauna and flora field assessment and prepared an environmental impact assessment report to support the development of a solar farm at Barcaldine. These reports included:

an assessment of the project's impacts against the State Development Assessment Provision, in particular Module 8 – Native Vegetation Clearing (Queensland Vegetation Management State Code).
Weed and pest management plan

Project approval was granted in 2017.
