The
National Wild Dog Action Plan (NWDAP) 2020-30 has
been finalised and endorsed by producers, peak farming bodies, the Australian
Government, state governments and research and development corporations. The plan ensures control measures are evidence-based best practice and the most ethical and humane
available.
The plan enables communities to coordinate effective and humane management of wildlife dogs. It
recognises that the keys for success in managing wildlife dog include collaborative, coordinated and landscape-scale approach.
Ongoing commitment to best practice wild dog management across the country is essential to the recovery of rural
and regional economies.
